I have a nice small 4 makita grinder that is light and small enough to do detail work.
Likewise i would consider using a conventional grinder for doing 95 of the cutting.
The fein tools are great but the accessories are very costly.
Setting up your cutting station correctly is just as important as selecting the right tools.
However the angle grinder makes a lot of dust and is a little more difficult to control than a circular saw.
After a blade change it can then cut your ham sandwhich the hardi saw blades work pretty good i have found.
Some workers also use a wet saw to improve its weak points.

A utility knife is the cheapest method to cut hardie board but your cuts will need to be straight for the cut to be effective the 4in angle grinder with a diamond blade is best for cutting around doors windows or cutting trim.
